Why used OEM
When a used OEM part is the sensible choice
A used OEM component is the part your manufacturer originally fitted, taken from another vehicle. That is an advantage in some situations and not in others — here is how we see it.
It usually makes sense when
- The part is an original manufacturer component. Fit, connectors and behaviour match what the vehicle was designed around.
- The new OEM price is out of proportion to the car. Common on larger assemblies and on vehicles past their first decade.
- The vehicle is older and parts are getting scarce. Sometimes a used OEM part is the only original component still available.
- Reusing a working component is the greener option. No new manufacturing, no new shipping, one less part in a scrapyard.
- The car has plenty of life left. A sensibly priced part can keep a sound vehicle on the road for years.
It needs more thought when
- The component is a wear item that is inexpensive new — brake pads, filters, belts and similar.
- The part cannot be meaningfully assessed before it is fitted.
- The labour cost of fitting it far outweighs the saving on the part itself.
We will tell you when we think a new part is the better buy. Selling you something that comes back is no good for either of us.

Do I need to know the OEM part number?
No. Most customers do not. Send your vehicle details and a photograph of the existing part, and we will work out which component you need. A part number simply makes it faster when you have one.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Most enquiries get a first response the same working day. How long the sourcing itself takes depends on the part — common components on popular models are usually quick, while rarer assemblies can take longer. We tell you where things stand rather than leaving you waiting.
What does the 7 days replacement warranty cover?
Eligible parts are covered by a 7-day replacement warranty from delivery, subject to our warranty conditions: no physical damage, no overheating damage where applicable, no dismantling or tampering, correct installation, and the part must match the vehicle specification you supplied. Warranty eligibility is confirmed before you buy.
Are used parts tested before sale?
Testing depends on the component. An alternator can be bench-tested for electrical output; a control unit often cannot be fully validated off the vehicle. We carry out the checks that are appropriate to each part type and tell you what was done, rather than claiming every part is fully tested.
Do you deliver outside Mumbai?
Yes. We are based in Mumbai and dispatch across India through courier and transport partners. Delivery time and charges depend on the destination and the size of the part, and are confirmed in your quote.
Can mechanics and workshops open an account?
Yes. Register through the mechanic partner form and we will set you up for repeat sourcing. Workshop accounts with saved vehicle details and order history are planned as we grow.
