7 days replacement warranty
Eligible parts are covered by a 7-day replacement warranty, subject to the Sasta Spares warranty conditions set out below. We tell you whether a part is warranty-eligible before you buy it, not afterwards.
What the warranty depends on
A used component is a used component. These conditions are what make a replacement warranty possible at all on parts that have already served time in another vehicle.
-
No physical damage
The part must be free of impact damage, cracked housings, sheared mountings or damaged connectors that were not present at delivery.
-
No overheating damage
Where applicable, the part must not show signs of overheating, seizure or burnt windings caused after delivery.
-
No dismantling or tampering
Opened, repaired, repainted, re-stamped or otherwise modified parts fall outside the warranty. Warranty labels must be intact.
-
Correct installation
The part must be fitted by a competent mechanic, using the correct procedure, torque values and any related consumables the job requires.
-
Correct application
The part must correspond to the vehicle and specification you supplied at the time of enquiry.
-
Eligible parts only
Warranty applies to parts identified as warranty-eligible at the time of sale. Some components carry different conditions, which we state before you buy.
How a claim works
- Tell us within the warranty period. Contact us on 8655006733 or WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery, with your order reference.
- Describe what happened. What symptom appeared, when, and what the fitting workshop found. Photographs or a video help.
- We review. We may ask for the part to be returned for inspection, or for diagnostic output from the workshop that fitted it.
- We replace where the claim is valid. Where a replacement is not available, we agree an alternative resolution with you.
Claims are assessed on the condition of the returned part and the circumstances of the failure. We are not going to pretend every claim gets approved — a part that was fitted incorrectly, run without the related components being serviced, or damaged in the process is outside the warranty. That is the same standard any parts supplier applies.
Electronic components
Some electronic parts — control units in particular — carry different purchase and warranty conditions, because they often cannot be fully validated off the vehicle and may require coding or immobiliser matching once fitted. Where that applies to your part, we set out the specific conditions in writing before you buy.

What the warranty does not cover
- Labour, diagnostic time, towing, or the cost of consumables used during fitting
- Consequential loss of any kind, including loss of use of the vehicle
- Damage caused by a fault elsewhere in the vehicle — for example an alternator destroyed by a failed battery or damaged charging circuit
- Parts fitted to a vehicle other than the one specified at the time of enquiry
- Normal wear on a used component that is performing as described
Three things that protect your warranty
- Check the part against the old one before installation. If something looks wrong, stop and call us.
- Have the related system checked. A new part fitted to an unresolved underlying fault will fail again.
- Keep the packaging and any warranty label intact until the part is confirmed working.
