Process

From your enquiry to a part in your hands

Four steps. You decide at the last one, once you have seen the part, its condition and its price.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Send your vehicle details and the part you are after. Photographs of the existing part help more than a part number — send both if you have them.

Takes about two minutes. No part number required.

  2. 02

    We search our supplier network

We check our own stock first, then our network of dismantlers and suppliers for a donor vehicle that matches your specification.

Most enquiries get a first response the same working day.

  3. 03

    We verify, test and validate

We confirm the part matches your application, inspect its condition and run the tests that apply to that component type.

Testing depends on the component — we explain what was done.

  4. 04

    We quote and dispatch

You get a price, condition notes, photographs of the actual part and its warranty status. If you go ahead, we pack and dispatch it.

You approve the part before any money changes hands.

What we actually do between your enquiry and your quote

We work out what part you need

Plenty of enquiries arrive as a description of a symptom rather than a part name, and that is fine. We read what you send, look at your photographs, and where necessary ask a follow-up question or two. If your mechanic has diagnosed the fault, that goes into the picture as well.

We confirm the specification

Model name and year are a starting point, not an answer. We look at generation, engine, variant, transmission and whether the vehicle is a facelift version, because any of those can change the part. Where the existing unit carries a legible OEM number, that shortens the process considerably.

We search stock, then the network

We check what we already hold, then go out to our network of dismantlers and suppliers. Some parts turn up within hours. Others take longer, particularly on lower-volume models or where a specific variant is involved. We tell you which situation you are in rather than leaving the enquiry open indefinitely.

We inspect and test what we find

What that involves depends entirely on the component. An alternator can be bench-tested for charging output. A control unit often cannot be meaningfully validated off the vehicle. We carry out the checks that suit the part and we tell you what those checks were — including where a test was not possible.

We quote with photographs

Your quote includes photographs of the actual part — not a stock image of a similar one — condition notes, the checks we carried out, whether the part is warranty-eligible, and the delivered price.

We pack and dispatch

Once you confirm, the part is packed for transit and dispatched through our courier or transport partners. Larger assemblies travel by surface transport. Delivery times and charges are confirmed in the quote, not added afterwards.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT GET
  • Stock photographs standing in for the part you are buying
  • A claim that a part is “fully tested” when the component cannot be tested off the vehicle
  • A part sent without telling you its condition first
  • Charges that appear after you have committed
  • Pressure to buy something we are not confident about
7 DAYS REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

Parts identified as warranty-eligible at the time of sale carry a 7-day replacement warranty, subject to our conditions.

Tell us what you need. We’ll find it for you.
