Policy

Return & replacement policy

What to do if the part that arrives is not right, is damaged in transit, or fails within the warranty period.

Last updated: 2026

1. Check the part on arrival

Inspect the part when it arrives, before fitting it. Compare it against the old unit — mounting pattern, connector, pulley, dimensions and any part number. If anything does not look right, stop and contact us before installation. A part that has been fitted is far harder to return than one that has not.

Photograph the packaging and the part before you unpack it fully, particularly if the outer packaging shows damage.

2. Situations we accept

Incorrect part supplied

If we supply a part that does not match the vehicle and specification you gave us at the time of enquiry, we will replace it at our cost, or refund the amount paid for the part. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery and do not attempt to fit it.

Damaged in transit

If the part arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Part materially different from its description

If the part differs materially from the condition described and the photographs supplied at the time of sale, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Warranty failure

Where a warranty-eligible part fails within 7 days of delivery, the warranty policy applies.

3. What we cannot accept

  • Parts ordered against vehicle details that turn out to be incorrect, where the part matches the information you supplied
  • Parts that have been fitted, attempted to be fitted, modified, painted, dismantled or damaged after delivery
  • Parts where a warranty label, seal or marking applied by us has been removed or broken
  • Parts returned without prior authorisation
  • Change of mind after the part has been dispatched, where the part matches the specification agreed
  • Electrical and electronic components that have been connected or energised, other than in a valid warranty claim

Because used parts are individually sourced against a specific requirement, we are not able to operate an open change-of-mind return window in the way a mass-produced retail product allows. We compensate for this by confirming the part with you — photographs, condition notes and specification — before dispatch, so you know exactly what is coming.

4. How to raise a request

  1. Contact us on 8655006733 by phone or WhatsApp, or email support@sastaspares.com, quoting your order reference.
  2. Send photographs showing the issue, and of the packaging where transit damage is involved.
  3. We will confirm whether a return is authorised, and how the part should be sent back.
  4. Return the part in its original packaging, complete and undamaged.

5. Return shipping costs

Where the fault is ours — an incorrect part, a part that does not match its description, or transit damage — we bear the return cost. In other cases the return cost is borne by the customer. This is confirmed when the return is authorised, before you send anything.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method once the returned part has been received and inspected. Refunds cover the amount paid for the part. Fitting, removal and diagnostic labour are not refundable.

7. Cancellation before dispatch

If you wish to cancel after confirming an order but before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible. Where the part has not yet been dispatched we will normally be able to cancel and refund in full. Where the part has already been sourced specifically for you and paid for on your behalf, a handling charge may apply, which we will tell you about before it is applied.
